“Kill Eye was always a good jam when we played it with the band. The lyrics are a direct result of watching the news on TV - one too many times.”
The opening sample, “I beg you, forgive me” is from TV evangelist Jimmy Swaggart’s May 1988 televised apology for his moral transgressions.

“I brought Tchad Blake out to a couple of locations outside of Melbourne to get some bird song stuff. I wanted the Australian Magpie on it but we just couldn’t get an isolated track. Too much traffic and stuff.”
