Written and recorded by Hunters and Collectors, the band led by Mark Seymour, brother of Crowded House’s Nick Seymour.
Crowded House regularly covered this song in concert for years and attempted to record it in the studio on more than one occasion, never matching the heights the song reached with a live audience. The band’s studio recordings remain unreleased, although a Woodface-era version taped by Tim Finn was published by him online in 2011.
Neil Finn’s duet with Eddie Vedder was released on a Hunters and Collectors tribute album in 2013.
