It’s good to be back on the farm

We’ve returned home now after 69 shows through 12 countries, good memories of singing audiences, castles, forests, buffet breakfasts and well stocked minibars, beautiful vistas and occasional spirit visitors, all taken in with relish to feed our souls and imaginations. The New Year will bring new music for sure, I just want it to be the best ever, leave a few melodies hanging in the air to accompany a few good gatherings, soothe a few wounded hearts, pick up the spirits of some who may be weary.

We became a better band this year, you drew it out of us and I thank you for that.

It was a delight to get Elroy’s mysterious new song The Other in our setlist, it’s different and fresh to my ears… I invite you to have another listen.
