A F’inn Christmas (aka Finns on a Mission) at Auckland’s Powerstation last night featured more Finns on the same stage than ever before. Performers included Neil Finn, Tim Finn, Liam Finn, Elroy Finn, Sharon Finn, Harper Finn, Elliot Finn, EJ Barnes, Ceci Herbert, Ladyhawke and others.
Songs included (but not in this order) Dirty Creature, Second Chance, Better To Be, Burn Up The Road, Fall At Your Feet, Dizzy Heights, Flying In The Face of Love, Pony Ride, Stuff and Nonsense, Going Too Fast, From A Friend To A Friend, Locked Out, Distant Sun, Dizzy Heights, One Step Ahead, History Never Repeats, I Got You, Poor Boy, It’s Only Natural, Weather With You, Something So Strong, Six Months In A Leaky Boat, Don’t Dream It’s Over, Cold Feet, Caroline No, Snug As and more.
Ladyhawke sang main vocal on Message To My Girl, Harper played and sang Stuff and Nonsense beautifully and young Elliot wowed us all with her powerful vocal on R.E.S.P.E.C.T. She also played a mean funk bass and ukulele earlier.

TWO GENERATIONS OF FINNS TO PERFORM XMAS SHOW AT AUCKLAND’S POWERSTATION DECEMBER 21st
PROCEEDS TO GO TO AUCKLAND CITY MISSION
NEIL, TIM AND LIAM FINN WILL BE PERFORMING SOME NEW AND CLASSIC SONGS WITH A FULL BAND OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Neil Finn says, “This was born of a sudden urge to gather our whole family and some good friends, have a play and a sing some of our songs in my favourite venue with a bunch of other good folk, all in support of our wider community! It’s that simple, it’s Christmas!”
Tim Finn says, “Great to help out the City Mission, and a great time of year to celebrate with family on stage.”
