Southbound – and the end of the Festival run
From Liam Finn’s Tweet:
“What a rad tour with the family band! #automaticteeth ”
Neil and his band of Finns and friends played the last of their Australian festival gigs last night. Courtesy of the Frenz Forum, here’s the setlist for the Southbound show in Busselton.
“History Never Repeats
Flying in the Face of Love
Fall At Your Feet
Distant Sun
From a Friend to a Friend
One Step Ahead
Something So Strong
Pony Ride
Don’t Dream It’s Over (Neil dedicated the song to the late Phil Everly, incorporating most of “All I Have To Do Is Dream”)
Weather With You
Locked Out
I Got You
Better Be Home Soon (Before Neil launched into BBHS, a large rubber dingy appeared out of nowhere onto the stage, Neil then proceeded to perform the song lying in the dingy. After finishing the song, Liam & roadies carried Neil, still inside the dingy, off stage)”
To round off the night, Neil later joined MGMT and Pond for Six Months In A Leaky Boat.
