THE MAKING OF WOODFACE (audio)
Crowded House released their third album, Woodface, in 1991. It had been two years in the making and saw the band augmented by Neil Finn’s brother, Tim. Twenty-five years on, RNZ’s Jeremy Ansell hooked up with Neil Finn in the studio, plus Tim Finn and Nick Seymour via Skype, to talk about the creation of this classic record – from the home demos to the studio masters, which have been brought together in the Woodface Deluxe Edition. Naturally, their drummer, the late Paul Hester, is never far from everyone’s thoughts.
